Switching to Chatensy

A migration checklist for the platforms we're asked about most.

Switching from AiSensy

AiSensy is a WhatsApp marketing platform popular with Indian SMBs. Moving to Chatensy keeps your number and your Meta assets.

  1. Export contacts and opt-in dates from AiSensy as CSV and import them into Chatensy with the consent source recorded.
  2. Recreate your approved templates in Chatensy's builder (templates belong to the WABA, so if you own the WABA they appear automatically).
  3. Move the phone number to your own Meta app, or register it fresh, through Meta's migration flow in Chatensy onboarding.
  4. Rebuild chatbots and journeys from the 21 recipes, then test them in the sandbox.
  5. Point your Shopify, CRM and Zapier connections at Chatensy and switch off the old account.

Switching from Interakt

Interakt is a WhatsApp commerce and support platform, often used with Shopify stores. Moving to Chatensy keeps your number and your Meta assets.

  1. Export contacts and opt-in dates from Interakt as CSV and import them into Chatensy with the consent source recorded.
  2. Recreate your approved templates in Chatensy's builder (templates belong to the WABA, so if you own the WABA they appear automatically).

Frequently asked questions

Is Chatensy an alternative to AiSensy, Interakt and Wati?

Yes. Chatensy covers the same core, broadcasts, a shared inbox and chatbots on the official WhatsApp API, and adds a lead pipeline with CRM sync, payments in chat, RFM audiences, a grounded AI agent, website chat and Telegram, a full REST API with SDKs and white-label for agencies.

Will I lose my WhatsApp number if I switch?

No. Your number and your WhatsApp Business Account belong to your Meta Business, not to the platform. Chatensy connects to your own Meta app, so the number moves with you and stays yours if you ever leave.

How long does migration take?

Most teams are live within a day: an afternoon to connect the number and import contacts, and a few hours to recreate templates and journeys. Meta template approval usually takes minutes to a few hours.
